Chopsquad acquires a new RBX!

Wah all of us hibernating ah? All silenced and no inspiration meh? Never mind, IIIIIIIIII Can Give you Gatsby, Gatsbyyyyyy, Gatsbyyyyy.

After months of deliberation of buying a new bass, I have finally taken the plunge and bought a new Yamaha RBX-374 active bass. Take a look, isn't she the absolutest beauty of all basses???? Arrrgghhh.

She comes with 2 hum-reducing pickups and has 2 EQ settings, most reviews gave it almost perfect score for sounding much more than it costs. Only thing is it requires a 9V battery to make any sound; a minor inconvenience.

Another view from the top; notice the new Yamaha design at the top? I took a look at the brocheres and new guitars/basses will adopt this design. Dang, there goes exclusivity! Sweet sweet bass, can't wait to bring it for jamming.

Btw introducing the bass player for chopsquad:

猫王。

Ain't she farking cute?? She can slap bass, play godlike riffs and yet laze around all day without practising.

Also, thanks Ben for the trouble regarding the staff/student price issue, he went all out to try and get the bass for me at >$500, a great value, however SHIPAI la, exceed some limit. In the end, I paid $560 for the RBX and a fast fret.

Edit: Went to Luthermusic wif PL to check out. OMG wad a dissapointment Luthers turned out to be. No electric guitars/basses... only acoustic guitar? Wah? Durian Season ah? I wanted to check out the RBX at Luther's but go in only see wood guitars. Zzz wad happened to my favourite guitar shop.
