Finally, a Big Breather

After 4 days of 12 hours slogging per day, PC Show finally closed to the tunes of melancholic music from the BASTAAD courts speakers. I have made many new friends, enemies and learnt experiences from this stint, cos its my first sales work experience. This year was as terrible as all PC Shows, crowded streets, indians who just dont know their bargaining limit, totally rude Singaporeans and liars. In fact all promoters are liars.

Working at Lenovo, they pay shit. $40 a day $10 for each laptop/desktop sold. HEllo... either ur margins very little, why are you paying ur promoters 10 measly dollars for something that cost at least 1K and above? Laptop promoters really are the Bangla's of the PC Show, Explain so hard the differences between so many brands, different specs knowledge (CPU, memory, OS, hard disk etc) while others juz focus on a specific product (portable HDD), withstand the fucking amazing flow of sweaty bargain hunters pushing u, tok till sore throat still dont wanna buy, customers who just wanna leech all available gifts..... for $10.

I have frens earning $200 a day selling portable hard disks. If you can sell 6 laptops a day u are good. That equates to $100 a day.

Ten Things I've Leveled Up this PC Show

10. Do not work at a brand u think u won't buy, because others think the same way.

9. Bosses can be stingy, but their wives are GODLIKE stingy

8. The prettier the promoter, the more sales she will chalk up.

7. The higher the skirt, the higher the sales.

6. Uni sch students can NEVER sell as well as non-uni students, especially guys.

5. Indians have the wonderful ability to provide Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound when haggling u for a better deal.

4. They speak 10 times faster then the average person, and 5 times as fast as a poor laptop promoter.

3. People who bring bebies and ostomates in prams and wheelchairs to PC Shows are very, VERY moronic, cos they clog up the whole damned path.

2. Selling laptops to old folks who thank you for your good service really warms your heart, but it colds later after you found out that their laptop spoil the next day.

1. Ping Ling and Ben didn't come visit me, and Ping's old fren.
