Malaysia Boleh!!
I know many people out there dislike Malaysia to varying extents, and even though being a Malaysian, I do not blame you peeps. But then again, it pains me to see that Malaysia is not the powerhouse that I think it would have been.
And it pains me even more to witness the shambolic performance at the Asian Cup. Whipping boys, seriously. 12 goals conceded with 1 goal scored. Oh My God. So bad that even the main papers had a big article that wrote: " Malaysian Football RIP".
Never mind that we
HAD, believe it, the world's tallest and most plant-looking buildings in the world. 2 of them look like corns and the other looks like a tapioca. Until now, I'm still mystified by the reason behind building them. Complete waste of money. And space. (But we have plenty of that though.)
Never mind that they have the worst planning ever. Who builds a bus stop, in the middle of a grassland, when there is no road? (We do! Period). And its still standing there, in the middle of that grassland.
Never mind Wawasan 2020. For those who don't know, Wawasan 2020 is the aim for Malaysia to become a truly 1st world country by 2020. The chances of that happening? Maybe slightly more than Goal 2010. They should evaluate their documents and maybe change it to Wawasan 2200. From the way things are now, 2020 is impossible, honestly. (Hmm, maybe there was a mistake in typo. 2020. 2200. Very likely.)
And also, never mind that we sell water to Singapore and then buy it back at a higher price. I cannot understand why.
But still, once a Malaysian, always will be one. No matter how I am not able to understand the things that they do, it is still a nice country. Genting ain't that bad. Sunway Lagoon ain't that bad. And we produce our own protons.
Malaysia Boleh! Pertonas Boleh! Proton Saga Boleh!
Author's Note: If you still do not know which buildings I'm talking about. They are the Petronas Towers and KLCC respectively.
